We’re excited to announce tryouts for the 2025–2026 Flight Academy Volleyball Club Season! If you're ready to compete with the best on the Central Coast or are looking to take your game to the next level this is your chance!

A quick note on attendance:

In order for your athlete to have a fair chance to make a Travel Team, they need to be at tryouts. Unfortunately, we won’t be offering makeup sessions. As in previous years, we’ll also be offering pre-tryout clinics in the weeks before tryouts. These are intended to help players prepare, not for evaluation. Please do your best to have your athlete attend their age group’s tryout session.

TRYOUT PROCESS – WHAT TO EXPECT

During our two-hour tryout session, our amazing coaching staff will evaluate athletes based on their technical skills, effort, attitude, and ability to work as part of a team. We are looking for players who are passionate, coachable, and eager to take their game to the next level. Following the evaluations, our coaches will begin extending offers to selected athletes promptly.

As you already know, we are more than just a volleyball club, we are a family. Our program is designed to provide your athlete with the tools, training, and support they need to succeed, whether their goal is to make their high school team or pursue a college volleyball career. Over the past four years, we are proud to have helped over 35 boys and girls achieve their dreams of playing college volleyball, more than any other club on the Central Coast. Our comprehensive training program, personalized coaching, and college recruitment guidance give athletes the competitive edge they need to reach their full potential.

We understand that choosing the right volleyball program is a big decision for your family. We encourage all athletes to explore their options and attend all club tryouts that best suit their needs.

At Flight Academy, there’s no pressure, just a genuine invitation to join a program with a proven track record of success and a tight-knit community of dedicated players, coaches, and families.

14 & Under Travel Teams

We’re excited to announce that Flight Academy Volleyball will once again be offering our 14 Maverick, 14 Phoenix, and 13 Maverick Travel Teams for the 2025–2026 season!

These programs provide an incredible opportunity for athletes to:

• Sharpen their skills with amazing coaches
• Grow their love and passion for the game
• Compete in exciting tournaments across California
• Develop in a positive, high-energy environment

Join us for another season of growth, competition, and unforgettable experiences!

Season Cost

• Travel Team $2500.00
• Deposit required at time of signup
• 6 Month payment plans available

Important Dates to know :

• October 5, 2025 @ 5:00 PM – All Players will have received their offers for team placement
• October 6, 2025 – Players will be able to register with FAV to confirm their offered position.

The Travel Team season will begin November 30th 2025 to May 22, 2026.

14 & Under Practice Team

We are excited to share that Flight Academy Volleyball will once again be offering our 14U Practice Team for the 2025–2026 season! This program is a fantastic opportunity for athletes to sharpen their skills, grow their love for the game, and continue their development in a positive, high-energy environment.

The Practice Team season will begin January 4th 2026 to May 22, 2026.

Tryout Requirement

• To join the 14U Practice Team, all athletes must attend the Flight Academy travel team tryouts.
• When you arrive, please make sure to check in as a Practice Player so our staff can place you in the appropriate evaluation group.

Season Cost

• 5 Cities Practice team $1050.00
• Deposit required at time of signup
• 6 Month payment plans available
